Swim Swansea operate using a system called Team Manager that allows the club to hold competition and training data on its swimmer, this also allows the club to process electronic entries. As most meets in the UK use some version of a Meet running software, most meet managers prefer a clubs entries to be sent in electronically. For example West Wales now insist on this and no paper entries are excepted. The club has therefor put into place a procedure for handling meet entries

RulesĀ

  1. Entry Forms will be issued by relevant Squad Rep
  2. Squad rep will inform you of the club closing date (this is usually several weeks before the actual competition date so please check this date. Entries returned after the club closing will NOT be accepted and therefor the swimmer will not be entered)
  3. Entry form should be filled in and returned to squad rep with relevant payment
  4. Swimmers times, the club holds all the times achieved in each competition electronically. It is therfore not neccessary to put entry times on the form (a simple tick will suffice). If you feel that you want to put an entry time in the form please do so in the event that a time is not on record (however times held will take priority). All times/pbs held by the club are online and viewable here. If there is a discrepency please contact us and let us know. Alternativly the British Swimming website holds up to date records on most swimmers and can be found here
  5. Payment should be made by cheque, with one cheque per entry form. To insure that you check does not get lost or mixed up with others please write the Swimmers name and Competition the cheque is for on the back.
  6. Squad rep will then submit entry forms and cheques to Entry Manager
  7. Entries are then processed and placed on this website before they are submitted. It is up to you to check these entries and let us know if there are any problems. Once entries are submitted changes can not be made.
  8. In most cases not all when a meet organiser finishes processing all the entries. Confirmation will be sent back to the club these along with any rejections and changes to session times will again be posted on this website.
  9. If at any time during this process you experience any problems or need help either use the contact form on this website to contact us or approach your squad rep who will be happy to help you.
  10. Exceptions to the rules, as with everything there are exceptions to the rules. If there are they will be clearly stated.
